Congress on Criminal Law Reforms in Turkey and the World
May 26 – June 4, 2010
Organized in İstanbul and Ankara with the participation of 38 countries, the congress hosted discussions on many different topics on the criminal law and experiences of countries with criminal law reforms in the past, and recommendations on reforms. During the 9-day (May 26 – June 4) congress, the participants discussed various topics, such as Judiciary-Press, Prosecutor-Law Enforcement Criminal Case, Control of Communication, State Secret, Criminal Law Reforms in the World, Juveniles Pushed to Crime, Freedom-Security Debates, Turkish Criminal Law Reform, and Alternative Solutions in Criminal Law.
