During the symposium “Human Right Violations in Iraq” that we organized at Yeni Yüzyıl University, Iraq was covered in its entirety as one of the most important countries in the Middle East, a problematic region of conflicts throughout the history despite its resources, financial and social and cultural richness. At the 2-day symposium, Arab, Turkish and western scholars, jurists, journalists and experts sought a solution for the problems in Iraq, which have been more impossible to work out with the American occupation of Iraq. Symposium proceedings were presented to the use of global community in Turkish, English and Arabic with the book entitled “Book of Proceedings of the International Iraq Symposium”.
