As part of the event that we organized on calligraphy, one of the cornerstones of Islamic arts, we held an exhibition of works created by 34 calligraphers and a symposium with the participation of artists and experts in this field. We also held workshops at the workshops of Hüseyin Kutlu and Savaş Çevik and the Library of Turkish-Islamic Arts. Granted by the Association of Traditional Arts to the artists with important contributions to traditional arts, the second “Silver Tulip” award was given to Hasan Çelebi as part of this event. We published the works exhibited at the event organized at Cemal Reşit Rey Concert Hall and symposium proceedings into a book and created an archival work with the title “Calligraphy Gathering”.
