As the first activity of “Gatherings of the State of Law”, we organized the symposium “New Constitutional Draft in the Referendum Process” at İstanbul University. Hence the name suggests it was an important activity for covering a current issue which concerns all segments of the society. Also, jurists who are active in political, academic and non-governmental communities covered the theme and this shows not only theoretical aspect, but also practical value of the symposium.
